Transfer Android contacts to iPhone

When switch from an Android phone to an iPhone, it would be a pain to re-type all the contacts names, phone numbers, emails, address, notes and other information to your new phone. If fact, you won’t need to type one by one manually, here, we share three ways to transfer your contacts information from Android phone to iPhone.

1.Sync Android contacts to iPhone via Email

Export Android contacts to SD card
On Android Home screen, tap Contacts app, then tap Menu key, on the pop up menu select Import/Export, then select Export to SD card on the next pop up menu, finally tap OK button to confirm exporting contacts to SD card.

Add Android contacts to iPhone
Next, on your Android phone, create an email and attach the newly exported .vcf file, send it to your email address that is setup on your iPhone. On your iPhone, open the email and scroll down to the attachments list, tap on the .vcf file, and then choose “Add All # # Contacts”.

2. Transfer Android contacts to iPhone using Google account

Sync Android contacts to Google contacts
On Android phone, open Settings, then go to “Accounts & Sync”, and then tap on the Google account. Next, tap on “Sync Contacts” and let the syncing process complete, this may take a few minutes if you have a very large contacts information.

Sync Google contacts to iPhone
On iPhone, Open “Settings” then go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and choose “Add Account”. Select “Other” and look under “Contacts” to choose “Add CardDav Account”. Next, Enter the following details into the fields, then tap “Next” .
Server: google.com
User Name: googleemailaddress@gmail.com
Password: your password
Description: Google contacts

It will start to sync immediately. You should now find that all of your Google contacts are in your iPhone.

3. Directly transfer contacts from Android to iPhone

The above 2 mentioned ways about transferring Android contacts to iPhone seem a little time-consuming. Now, we’d like to introduce an easy and intuitive way. That is using Wondershare MobileTrans. The MobileTrans can transfer your Android contacts to iPhone directly just by one-click. Besides contacts, it also lets you transfer text messages, videos, photos, music from Android phone to iPhone.

And above all, the MobileTrans does well in transferring data between mobile phones that are based on Android, iOS and Nokia Symbian operating systems. You can also backup old phone data to PC and then restore to your new phone when switch phone. Have you ever backed up BlackBerry phone data to BlackBerry Desktop Software, or iPhone data to iTunes library? You can restore the backed up data to iPhone or Android phone.
